In addition to her clinical practice, she have worked as a research pharmacist, supporting clinical trials and contributing to the development of therapies for a variety of chronic disease states. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeastern University Bouvé College of Health Sciences.

She holds a Master of Science from Louisiana Tech University and a Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University.
